We — Dutch web agency Vallonic — strive to make getting your website compliant with the GDPR and CCPA as easy as possible. Our automated service scans your website for cookies, explains them to your users and adds a multilingual cookie consent banner to your website.
We will scan your website periodically for all cookies that are used on it. These cookies are then matched against our database of known cookies. We will display the cookies in a list that we host ourselves, to which you can refer from your privacy policy without ever having to worry about keeping it actual. Whenever you add a new service to your website, we will spot the associated cookies soon enough.
Our banner is easily added to your Google Tag Manager container using our tag template. No further set-up is required within Google Tag Manager, as the smart cookie banner will retrieve your site's settings automatically. We support Google Consent Mode v2 out of the box. When you follow our recommendations by using the consent update trigger for your tags, no page reloads are required on the user's end.
Within consent.studio, you are able to configure your banner easily but exactly to your liking and the requirements that apply to your region by law. You can choose to listen for implicit or explicit consent and pre-select certain cookie categories.
The banner comes in three styles — none, miminmal and full — and two modes — light and dark.
